NEEP 271, Fall 1998:
Problems Sets

Problem sets should be sent by e-mail as attachments to BOTH : eploewen@students.wisc.edu AND waleffe@math.wisc.edu .

The files should be as concise as possible without impeding clarity. Remember, we're going to receive many of these and we want to run them easily. Make sure to indicate your name, PS number and Problem number with each file you submit.
Ideally, each file should contain a matlab script file, also calles M-files, (for problems solved with Matlab , of course) which we can simply run and enjoy!
Ideally, you should send us only ONE message with as many attachments as the number of problems.

What is expected of your PS solutions:

Think of yourself as an Engineer trying to sell to us, the customers, a product that you developed.
If your PS is too long, sloppy, wrong, overdue, etc... we won't buy it, except perhaps at bargain basement prices (i.e. D-grade). It's not up to us to work hard to make sure you get credit. Remember, it's a competitive world out there. We're not just looking at your submission, we're also looking at all the other "bids".

We've been more "understanding" for the first PS, but by now you should know how to send mail with attachments. So send just ONE message containing all your solutions. Do not send several messages. You should also know how to write and save M-files. "Cut and paste" of a matlab session is not acceptable anymore.
