About me

I'm the Systems Administrator for the Math Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I started working for the Math Dept. on March 28th 2022. I replaced John Heim who retired in 2022.

I also manage the research servers used by faculty, postdocs, and graduate students. I also help ensure that the researchers have the tools, documentation, and basic skills they need to do their work. There is also a three server cluster for undergraduate use and for participants in the Madison Experimental Mathematics Lab

In addition I manage the Linux workstations, monitor network and endpoint security, assist with end-user support, and whatever else pops up.
