Lecture Times and Location: Tuesday &Thursday, 11am–1215pm, Social Sciences Building 5231
Office hours: Monday and Friday, 850–940am, 609 Van Vleck Hall. Also, be sure to use Piazza (follow that link and look under “Q&A”).
Textbook:  Calculus, Volume II, by Tom Apostol, 2nd edition.
Homework assignments: Suggested problems from the textbook will be assigned on the Lecture and Homework page.. Homework will not be graded or collected. Instead there will be a quiz in discussion every other week with questions similar to recent homework problems. Apostol's book has short answers to many problems. You should discuss homework problems in dicussion and on Piazza.
Exams: There will be two midterm exams and one final exam. The midterms will be held in class  on October 3 and November 16.
Grades: The two midterm, the final exams, and the quizzes about the homework count for 25% each. Letter grades will be assigned according to the following tentative scheme:
A: 85-100%; AB: 82-85%; B:75-82%; BC: 72-75%; C: 60-72%; D: 50-60%.
