This year the University is replacing the antique elevators in Van Vleck with new and (we hope) more functional ones.  On January 7, a helicopter entertained us all by lifting the parts for two new elevators to the roof of Van Vleck and removing one of the old elevators. For several months, we will have to make do with one old elevator.
