NOTE: we have used and will use some Linear Algebra concepts/notation. You can consult Chap 10 in Greenberg for background on Linear Algebra. Knowing what a matrix is, how to add them, multiply them, what is the determinant, etc... is as fundamental to Science and Engineering as knowing the concept of the derivative of a function. You'll NEED to know! whether you have time to take a linear algebra class or not.
