Prereq: Math 234, which requires Math 222, which requires Math 221, which requires etc.
Office hours: MWF in lecture room VV B231 right after class, if available or in my office 819 Van Vleck, or by appointment if these times don't work for you. If you are registered in the class you can send e-mail to math321-1-s08@lists.wisc.edu about technical questions. Everyone in the class will receive a copy and this is often helpful to other students, just like it is usually helpful to many others when someone asks questions in class. Don't be afraid to answer the questions if you can.

Organization There will be 3 midterm exams, some of which may be in the EVENING, and a FINAL on THUR MAY 15, 12:25pm. There will be weekly quizzes.
Textbook NONE! See notes posted on top page . You are expected to study the notes, Exams will ask `theory' questions that will require you to have read and understood the notes.
