Prereq: Math 234, which requires Math 222, which requires Math 221, which requires etc.
Office hours: MWF 11:50-1:00 in the lecture room, VV B231, if available or in my office 819 Van Vleck, or by appointment if these times don't work for you. If you are registered in the class you can send e-mail to math321-1-s07@lists.wisc.edu about technical questions. Everyone in the class will receive a copy and this is often helpful to other students, just like it is usually helpful to many others when someone asks questions in class. Don't be afraid to answer the questions if you can.

Organization There will be 4 in-class quizzes and a FINAL On Thur May 17. Homework will be assigned and collected but not corrected in detail. Total homework grade is 20%, each quiz is 10% and the cumulative final is 40%. Course is curved and crudely digitized (A, AB, B,...) so exams are typically the biggest factor in your final letter grade.
Textbook NONE! See notes posted on top page . You are expected to study the notes, Exams will ask `theory' questions that will require you to have read and understood the notes.
