Participants Schedule Abstracts
We are holding a one day workshop at the University of Wisconsin, Madison for young geometric group theorists in the midwest.
The conference will be held in the math department (Van Vleck Hall) 480 Lincoln Dr.

See map). Registration and breaks will be on the 9th floor in the lounge. All talks will be in B239.

Some participant support will be provided by NSF to help offset travel expenses. Lodging will be provided for participants.
Once we have a complete list of participants we will be asking for optional short half
page research statements which will be made available to other participants.
The registration deadline has been extended to noon on October 10th. Please email yggt@math.wisc.edu if you have further questions.
Transportation: Madison is accessible by bus from Chicago, Minneapolis or Milwaukee (VanGalder Buses, Badger Bus).
There is also an airport (MSN) with direct flights to Detroit and Chicago among other places. Alternatively, you can reach Madison
by car (e.g. 3 hours from Chicago, 4 hours from Urbana, 5 hours from Purdue.) (The reimbursement rate is 51 cents a mile).
Lodging: We have reserved (shared) rooms for participants at the DoubleTree which is a 15 minute walk from the math department.
