I am a graduate student at UW-Madison currently working on a Ph.D. in Mathematics under the supervision of Professor Jean-Luc Thiffeault. My main interests are Fluid Dynamics -- in particular, the mixing of fluids -- and its applications to industry.
Fluid Dynamics is a field of Applied Math that uses models to predict and understand the behavior of fluids (and gasses). I am fascinated by the phenomenon that emerge when studying these models, and I believe that we can gain a deep understanding of nature by first studying the chaotic and turbulent structures that arise in the mixing of fluids.
