L^p estimates for maximal operators associated with radial Fourier multipliers.

Abstract.
I will talk about a necessary and sufficient condition for the boundedness
of maximal operators associated with radial Fourier multipliers on L^p
and the subspace of radial L^p functions for some p>2.
A similar result for  quasiradial multipliers
(multipliers of the form m(a(\xi)) for some distance function a)
will also be discussed.
